Romy is a writer based in Miami, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and a cute but disruptive cat. 

She graduated from Columbia’s School of Journalism, before spending a fun decade living and working in New York.

She is happy to be back in Florida, returned to her swamping grounds. She’s inspired by her family, her local environment, and the stories she grew up with. 

She is currently working on her first children’s book, illustrated by her talented friend and former GIPHY coworker, Jess Gilliam.
